Hardware Setup
1
Bridge board → Jetson AGX Orin

Seat the bridge board onto the Jetson AGX Orin camera expansion connector via J11. This single 120-pin connector carries all four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 outputs to the host.

2
Cameras → Bridge board

Connect each camera to its matching port: the LVDS camera to J7 (30-pin micro-coax), the Sony HDMI FCB camera to J3 (30-pin micro-coax), and native MIPI cameras to J4 (port 0) and J6 (port 1) (22-pin FPC).

3
Power Supply

Provide a regulated 12–24 V DC supply to J8 (PWR_IN). A 12 V / 3 A supply is recommended.

Note

LVDS and HDMI camera power are switched independently by SW6 (LVDS_PWR) and SW1 (HDMI_PWR). See Pinout Details.

Camera Control

The LVDS and HDMI cameras can be controlled from the Jetson host through the onboard I²C–UART bridges, or directly from an external system through each camera's onboard UART connector. The native MIPI ports expose I²C to the attached sensor.

LVDS / HDMI

Onboard I²C–UART Bridge

Zoom, focus, exposure and all VISCA-supported functions are driven from the Jetson host. Each port has its own independent bridge and I²C multiplexer channel, so both cameras can be controlled at the same time.

EXTERNAL

Onboard UART Connectors

Controls the LVDS or HDMI camera directly from an external system via 3.3 V CMOS UART, without going through the Jetson host.
