- Compact 50x50mm Form Factor
High-Quality HDMI to MIPI Conversion
Purpose-built for Sony FCB block cameras, the HDMI–MIPI Adapter Board converts the HDMI output of the FCB-ER8530 and FCB-EW9500H into a clean MIPI CSI-2 signal compatible with today's leading embedded AI platforms. Supporting the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit, AVerMedia D133, Waveshare Jetson Orin IO — Base Carrier Board and Raspberry Pi 5, it delivers real-time 4K30 video streaming with precise synchronization and signal integrity maintained throughout.
What sets this board apart is its integrated camera control architecture. The FCB cameras are driven over a 3.3V CMOS VISCA interface, routed through an onboard I²C-to-UART bridge — meaning zoom, focus, exposure, and all other VISCA-supported functions are accessible directly from the host platform through the same MIPI CSI-2 connector. No external serial adapters or additional control wiring are required.
The board outputs over a 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface, runs off a 12V regulated supply with onboard power conditioning, and is built for reliable operation in electrically demanding industrial and defence environments through its EMI-optimized design. At just 50 × 50 mm with a plug-and-play electrical interface, it integrates cleanly into space-constrained edge AI enclosures.
For teams building embedded vision systems around Sony FCB cameras, this adapter eliminates the integration complexity between camera hardware and modern edge AI platforms — all within a compact 50 × 50 mm footprint.
