LVDS Camera Interface
- Converts LVDS camera video output to 4-lane MIPI CSI-2
- Independent camera power switch and I²C-to-UART bridge (3.3 V CMOS) for VISCA control, with provision for external onboard UART header for camera control
LVDS, HDMI, 2-channel GMSL and native MIPI CSI-2 — all four Jetson AGX Orin camera ports on one board.

A single-board camera platform for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, bridging LVDS, HDMI, GMSL3 and native MIPI CSI-2 inputs onto all four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 ports.
A single-board camera integration platform built for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, engineered to bring every major camera interface — LVDS, HDMI, GMSL3, and native MIPI CSI-2 — onto one design, making full use of all four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interfaces the AGX Orin has to offer.
At its core, the board bridges LVDS and HDMI camera video output into 4-lane MIPI CSI-2, giving system integrators a direct path to connect industry-standard block cameras without custom bridging hardware of their own. Both interfaces share a dedicated I²C-to-UART bridge (3.3V CMOS) for VISCA control, with an onboard header available for external camera control when needed. For longer-reach and multi-camera deployments, the board's GMSL3 interface aggregates two independent camera links into a single 4-lane CSI-2 output through an onboard de-serializer.
It supports Power over Coax, so camera power and data ride the same cable, and remains backward compatible with GMSL2 cameras — giving flexibility across sensor generations. MATE-AX dual coax connectors, paired with breakout cables to FAKRA, keep cabling clean and serviceable in the field. Rounding out the interface set, a native 22-pin, 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 pass-through connector supports direct integration of MIPI sensors, for applications that don't need format conversion at all.
Built for demanding environments, the board runs on a wide-range 12–24V DC input, with reverse-voltage and transient-voltage protection guarding against field power faults, and power-status LEDs for at-a-glance diagnostics. Its compact 84.87 mm × 61.95 mm footprint and 38.4g weight suit space-constrained embedded enclosures, while a –20°C to +85°C operating range and RoHS compliance support deployment across industrial, defense, and outdoor vision systems.
Ideal for multi-sensor embedded vision systems, UAV and defense payloads, and industrial camera integration projects requiring flexible support for LVDS, HDMI, GMSL3, and native MIPI camera sources on a single Jetson AGX Orin platform.
What the board provides at each camera port, and at board level.

Connector, video format, and control details for each of the board's four camera ports.
Hardware and software guides are being prepared for this board.
It combines four independent camera interface bridges — LVDS–MIPI, HDMI–MIPI, 2-channel GMSL, and a native MIPI CSI-2 pass-through — on a single board, so all four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 ports on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin can be populated at once with different camera types.
It mates with the Jetson AGX Orin camera expansion connector — a 120-pin Samtec QTH-060 series connector carrying 16 lanes of MIPI CSI-2. Each of the four camera ports is routed to its own independent 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 link across that connector.
Yes. The Jetson AGX Orin exposes four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interfaces and the board populates all four — LVDS, HDMI, 2-channel GMSL and native MIPI CSI-2 each get a dedicated 4-lane link, so the ports operate independently and simultaneously. Combined throughput in practice depends on the resolution and frame rate of the cameras attached.
Port 1 (LVDS–MIPI) supports Sony FCB-EV9520L/EV9500L, Tamron MP3010M-EV and KT&C ATC-HZ5540T-LP. Port 2 (HDMI–MIPI) supports Sony FCB-ER8530 and FCB-EW9500H. Port 3 accepts 2 GMSL camera links over coax/STP. Port 4 is a straight 22-pin MIPI CSI-2 connector for any native 4-lane MIPI sensor module.
The LVDS and HDMI ports each retain an onboard VISCA-over-UART to I²C bridge, so zoom, focus and exposure can be driven directly from the Jetson AGX Orin host. The GMSL and native MIPI ports use I²C pass-through directly to the camera/sensor registers.
The board accepts a wide 12–24 V DC regulated input through a Molex Micro Fit+ 2-pin connector, with reverse-voltage and transient-voltage protection. A 12 V / 3 A regulated supply is recommended.
Yes. The AGX Orin MIPI CSI-2 Bridge Board (FC-AGX-LGHM) is a production board with an industrial-grade, EMI-optimised design, rated from –20 °C to +85 °C and RoHS compliant. Contact Oppila at info@oppila.in for pricing, lead times and custom requirements.
