AGX Orin Quad MIPI CSI-2 Bridge Board
The Quad Native MIPI CSI-2 Bridge Board is a compact multi-camera bridge solution designed to provide four independent native MIPI CSI-2 camera interfaces through dedicated 22-pin FPC connectors. The board enables direct connection of compatible MIPI CSI-2 camera modules to a host processing platform, providing a flexible solution for multi-camera embedded vision applications.
The board incorporates four 22-pin FPC camera connectors with a pinout compatible with the camera connectors used on the AstrOptix Super Carrier Board, NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit and Raspberry Pi 5. This enables flexible multi-camera configurations using the AGX Orin carrier board's MIPI CSI-2 camera interfaces. Camera resolution, frame rate, and simultaneous camera operation depend on the connected camera configuration, MIPI lane configuration, available CSI-2 bandwidth, and processing resources of the AGX Orin platform.
Each camera connector provides the required MIPI CSI-2 data and clock lanes together with the associated camera-control signals for configuration and operation. Three camera connectors provide MCLK support, while the fourth camera connector does not include an MCLK signal, matching the corresponding camera-interface configuration.
Built for demanding environments, the board runs on a wide-range 12–24V DC input, with reverse-voltage and transient-voltage protection guarding against field power faults, and power-status LEDs for at-a-glance diagnostics. Its compact 84.87 mm × 47.73 mm footprint suits space-constrained embedded enclosures, while a –20°C to +85°C operating range and RoHS compliance support deployment across industrial, defense, and outdoor vision systems.
Ideal for: Multi-camera embedded vision, robotics, industrial inspection, machine vision, UAV imaging, autonomous systems, surveillance, and AI-based vision applications requiring multiple native MIPI CSI-2 camera connections.
Applications:
- AI Edge Computing and Multi-Sensor Vision Analytics
- UAV / ISR Multi-Camera Payloads
- Robotics and Autonomous Platforms
- Industrial & Machine Vision Systems
- Defense Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems
- Medical & Diagnostic Imaging Instruments
- Security and Perimeter Surveillance Cameras
- Research, Development & Rapid Prototyping

FAQs
What does the AGX Orin Quad MIPI CSI-2 Bridge Board do?
It provides four independent native MIPI CSI-2 camera interfaces through dedicated 22-pin FPC connectors, so up to four compatible MIPI CSI-2 camera modules can connect directly to the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit.
Which cameras can I connect directly?
22-pin MIPI CSI-2 cameras with a pinout compatible with the AstrOptix Orin Super Carrier, Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit and Raspberry Pi 5. 15-pin MIPI CSI-2 cameras are supported through a standard 15-pin-to-22-pin FPC cable.
Can I use Sony FCB, Tamron, KT&C or Videology block cameras?
Yes, through optional bridge boards. Supported cameras include Sony FCB-EV9520L, FCB-EV9500L, FCB-ER8530, FCB-EW9500H and FCB-ER9500, Tamron MP3010M-EV, KT&C ATC-HZ5540T-LP and Videology 24Z2.1W-10XLVDS-462.
How does the board connect to the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin?
It mates with the AGX Orin camera expansion connector — a 120-pin Samtec QTH-060 series connector carrying 4 × 4-lane MIPI CSI-2.
Can all four cameras run at the same time?
Yes, the board supports simultaneous connection and operation of up to four MIPI camera modules, subject to host-platform capabilities. Camera resolution, frame rate and simultaneous operation depend on the connected cameras, MIPI lane configuration, available CSI-2 bandwidth and the processing resources of the AGX Orin.
Do all four camera connectors provide MCLK?
No. Three camera connectors provide MCLK support, while the fourth camera connector does not include an MCLK signal, matching the corresponding camera-interface configuration.
How is this board different from the other AGX Orin MIPI CSI-2 bridge boards?
All three boards use the four 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interfaces on the Jetson AGX Orin. The Quad MIPI board provides four native MIPI CSI-2 ports. The FC-AGX-LGHM board provides 1 × LVDS, 1 × HDMI, 2-channel GMSL3 and 1 × native MIPI CSI-2, and the FC-AGX-LHMM board provides 1 × LVDS, 1 × HDMI and 2 × native MIPI CSI-2.
What power supply does the board need?
The board accepts a wide-range 12–24 V DC regulated input through a Molex Micro Lock Plus 2-pin connector, with reverse-voltage and transient-voltage protection. A 12 V / 2 A regulated supply is recommended.
When will documentation and drivers be available?
Product manuals and driver packages for this board are coming soon. In the meantime, contact technical support at support@oppila.in for integration help.
